A PEDESTRIAN was involved in a collision with a car on the East Lancashire Road in Lowton on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old man was crossing the road at the Newton Road junction shortly after midnight when the collision occurred.
Police say he suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
They have spoken to the driver but no arrests have been made.
Firefighters from Leigh and paramedics attended the scene.
