THIS picture of a sunset at Pennington Flash Country Park was taken by Army veteran and amateur photographer Graham Young on August 12.
The 56-year-old granddad-of-two, from Lowton, took up photography as a hobby to help him tackle his post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
He said: “After my eight years in the Army I worked as a prison officer, but the things I saw in both jobs caused me a lot of trauma. Photography has been my escape.
“I take photographs of everything, but I particularly enjoy taking pictures of wildlife and scenery.
“I have recently done a calendar for next year for the Veteran Lifeline charity that helps Army veterans who are struggling.”
