THIS week we take a look back at a 1960s photograph of a Leigh clog shop.
Boydell's Clog Shop, on Silk Street, was demolished in 1964.
It was one of many clog shops in the town centre.
The corner building is now home to a sandwich bar.
Across the road is a Wilko's but at the time this picture was taken there was a swimming baths there.
A Post Office can be seen on the far right of the photograph, on Lord Street.
The shot was taken by local photographer Watson Raynor.
If you have a photograph you would like us to use in Look back at Leigh, send it to newsdesk@leighjournal.co.uk with your name, address and a daytime telephone number, plus details of when the picture was taken and what it shows.
