MENTAL health service users are invited to take part in Christmas craft workshops as part of the Mind Art project.
The Healthy Arts initiative will see visual artists Pat Carey and Kate Bufton tutor adults who wish to make wreaths, crackers, cards and decorations as festive gifts for family and friends.
Sessions will be held at the Turnpike Centre in Leigh between 1pm and 3pm on Thursdays from November 10.
Supported by Wigan Council’s The Deal for Communities and the Big Lottery Fund, the sessions cost participants 50p per week.
Materials and hot drinks will be provided.
Healthy Arts is a consortium of freelance artists who develop community projects.
