VOLUNTEERS are needed to help run a new community cafe.
Lowton Community Cafe open earlier this month on Newton Road.
More help is needed to extend its current opening hours of noon to 2pm on Mondays and noon to 3pm on Tuesdays.
Manager Luke Brown said: “Our new cafe will be the very heart of the Lowton Youth and Community Centre, giving people somewhere to drop in for a decent coffee and a cake or to find a quiet corner for a chat or catch up on some work.
“We are now on the lookout for some enthusiastic and community-minded people who can spare a little time to help out in the cafe, making coffee and serving refreshments.
“It is a great way to meet new people, become part of a friendly team and give back to our community.
“We can work around your availability and all training will be provided."
