A WOMAN has admitted committing seven shoplifting offences in Leigh.
Samantha Cunliffe, of Maple Crescent, Leigh, pleaded guilty to the offences committed between February 2 and April 4 when she appeared before Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
They included stealing more than £150 worth of meat from Marks and Spencer on February 11.
The 25-year-old also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a man to believe that unlawful violence would be used against him.
Cunliffe was remanded on bail to appear at the court again on May 2.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Cunliffe is not allowed to enter any self service retail premises while on bail.
