OPEN auditions will be held for Turnpike Community Theatre’s upcoming production of Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers next week.

The play version of the iconic story will be staged at Leigh’s Turnpike Gallery in September.

It has already attracted large ticket sales following the success of the amateur dramatics group’s recent performance of Roald Dahl’s The Witches.

Producer and director Neil Gredecki said: “This is such an iconic piece of theatre and we are very excited to be performing it at Turnpike.

“This year sees us increase our playbill to three productions and we hope Blood Brothers will appeal to our audiences.

“We are holding open auditions and we are encouraging members old and new to come along and take part, whether this be on stage or helping behind the scenes.”

The auditions at the Turnpike Gallery will be held from 7.45pm next Thursday, June 15.

Anyone wishing to audition should visit turnpikecommunitytheatre.com and register their interest by completing an online form.
