BUDDING cricket and cycling stars have put their skills to the test in Atherton and Tyldesley Sports Association (ATSA) competitions.
Garrett Hall Primary School in Tyldesley and Orrell St James RC Primary School in Wigan won six-team events at Astley and Tyldesley Cricket Club and Atherton Cricket Club respectively last Wednesday.
Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Boothstown and St Philip's CE Primary School in Atherton will lock horns in a play-off to decide the overall winner of the ATSA Kwik Cricket season today.
Meanwhile St Stephen's CE Primary School in Astley won the four-team ATSA Cycle Speedway festival on Monday.
