A MAN has been given an eight-month prison sentence suspended for two years for making indecent photographs of a child.
Peter Collins, of Rosevale Close, Hindley, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent photographs and being in possession of a prohibited image of a child when he appeared at Bolton Crown Court on Monday.
The 58-year-old committed the offences in November 2015.
Collins has been ordered to sign the sex offenders register for 10 years and has been given a sexual harm prevention order lasting five years.
He must also follow a rehabilitation activity programme and pay court costs of £200.
