FOLLOWING the success of its summer production of The Witches, Turnpike Community Theatre is holding open auditions for its Dick Whittington pantomime.
The festive show will be staged in late November/early December.
The Leigh-based amateur dramatics group is looking for new members to take on the roles that tell the tale of Dick Whittington and his search for wealth.
The group is encouraging people of all ages to take part in this exciting production that will be filled with song, dance and lots of comedy.
A spokesman for the group said: “Turnpike is a friendly bunch and we always welcome new talent and new members.
“Whether you have been a member of Turnpike for years or are a new recruit, we always welcome you to take part in productions and to audition for the range of roles on offer, whether it be a leading role or a smaller part.
“We are always keen to welcome people to our backstage crew too.”
The informal open auditions will be held at the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh’s Civic Square from 7.45pm on Thursday, August 24.
