A TEDDY bears’ picnic has taken place at a church in Leigh.
Leigh New Life Pentecostal Church on Ullswater Street hosted the family-friendly event on Friday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm which attracted around 35 adults and children with a range of children’s games.
The teddy bears picnic was part of a monthly initiative by the church to provide free entertainment to families in Leigh.
Church leader Julian Matthews said: “It went really well and the kids loved it with them bringing their own teddy bear to the party.”
