The incident happened on Hillcrest Avenue in Leigh
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a bedroom fire on Friday.
Three fire engines and a technical response unit were called to a property on Hillcrest Avenue in Leigh at around 3.30pm.
Crews used breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a specialist ventilation fan to extinguish the flames.
One person was outside the house when firefighters arrived and was led to safety.
Crews were at the scene for around two hours.
