POLICE arrested a man yesterday, Monday, in connection with a nightclub stabbing in Leigh.
A 21-year-old man was taken into custody after an incident outside a nightclub on Railway Road in the early hours of Monday, April 17 last year when a 22-year-old man was stabbed causing a deep laceration to his chin.
Officers are also questioning the man about an incident of affray which happened on Fell Street in Leigh on October 14 when a male was threatened at knifepoint.
He will also be quizzed about two other cases of criminal damage were also reported on Marshall Street and Opal Grove in the town later that night where car windows were smashed with a machete.
