A DRIVER lost control of his car before crashing into a lamppost in Leigh yesterday morning, Sunday.
Two fire crews were sent to Hand Lane around 6.40am to rescue a 30-year-old man from the vehicle.
The man was treated for neck and back injuries by paramedics at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 40 minutes.
