POLICE are hunting three robbers who threatened workers at a mobile phone shop before making off with £5,000 of goods.

The trio entered the EE store on Bradshawgate in Leigh before theatening members of staff and ripping phones off the displays.

They then left the shop with the stolen items.

CCTV images of the three men wanted in connection with the robbery have been released.

The incident happened around 11.40am on Wednesday, May 9.

PC Georgina Longman from GMP’s Wigan borough said: “We have issued images of three men wanted in connection with this brazen robbery and we are hoping the public can help us identify them.

“This happened in the middle of the day when there were customers in the shop.

“We know that the public’s help will be key in order for us to find those responsible and get justice for those staff and customers left shaken and terrified.”
