A BOY has been taken to hospital this morning, Monday, after being hit by a bus.
Emergency services were called to the guided busway near Astley Street in Tyldesley at around 7.50am where the boy was involved in a collision with a bus.

A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said he suffered serious injuries and major trauma.
The boy was fully conscious and breathing before an air ambulance took him to hospital.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) set up diversions while the area of the guided busway was closed until 10am.
Services are now running as normal.
