Police have issued a warning
POLICE in Hindley are urging residents to continue to be vigilant after an ongoing spate of burglaries in the area.
Officers have issued the warning to residents via social media and are asking anyone who sees anything suspicious to contact them.
On the Greater Manchester Police Hindley Twitter page, officers said: "Burglaries in Hindley are still ongoing, please keep all windows and doors locked keep keys out of your doors and away from windows; these thieves love an opportunity.
"Any suspicious activity in your area please let the police know by contacting 101".
