A LEVEL students have achieved a perfect pass rate at Leigh College.

Results released today, Thursday, found that 100 per cent of students passed their A Levels and 99.9 per cent doing the same in advanced vocational qualifications.

The national average of scoring high grades was 77 per cent with Leigh College students getting an average of seven per cent higher at 84 per cent.

Principal Anna Dawe said: “We are absolutely delighted with the results.

"These are the first students to complete the A Level Professional Honours Programme and we are so proud of their achievements.

"They have worked hard to complete a full A level programme, undertaken additional vocational qualifications related to their career and completed demanding and substantial industry placements.

"Their academic attainment combined with the technical skills they’ve developed means they can choose between the excellent university offers they’ve received and degree apprenticeship opportunities that are now available.

"We wish them every success for their future. ”
