THERE are delays on the M6 after two lanes have been closed following a crash near to Haydock Island.
Congestion is building due to the closures from junctions 22 to 23 of the M6.
Live traffic tracker INRIX stated as of 11am: "Queueing traffic and two lanes closed due to accident on M6 Northbound from J22 A49 Winwick Link Road (Newton Le Willows) to J23 A580 East Lancashire Road (Haydock).
"Lanes two and three remains closed after being held for 20 mins."
