HINDLEY Local Policing team have updated the public as to how they are dealing with crime in the area.
On March 22, the team attended an address on Argyle Street where persons had decided to use an address they don't own to live in and four people were stop searched under the S23 Misuse of Drugs Act.
On March 26, the team enforced a closure order for multiple address around the Belmont and Borsdane area to ensure orders are adhered to.
On March 27 the team acted on several pieces of Intelligence from the public seized a vehicle that had been used in drug dealing and criminality.
And later that evening, the team spotted a speeding A black Vauxhall that tried to flee from officers.
He was subsequently arrested for multiple driving Offences and possession with intent to supply.
Investigations are ongoing.
