A 22 years-old man has been remanded in custody after his brother was stabbed in the back at their home in Astley.
Sean Knowles appeared before Wigan & Leigh Magistrates Court on Monday charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent (section 18 assault) to his brother, Lee, aged 32.
At 12.43pm last Saturday (Nov 6) police were called to Fieldhead Avenue, Astley and found a Lee Knowles with a serious stab wound to his back.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and he remains in a stable condition.
Magistrates remanded Sean Knowles to appear on November 30 at Liverpool Crown Court.
