FORMER Leigh Centurions player Jack Gibson died, aged 79, on Christmas Day.
He joined Leigh in 1955 from Bickershaw Collieries and enjoyed a five-year spell with the club, clocking up 111 appearances and scoring 27 tries.
In later years Jack was a regular at the past players’ dinners and always followed the fortunes of the club.
His funeral will take place tomorrow, Friday, at Howe Bridge Crematorium at 10.45am.
