LEIGH continued their unbeaten start and eight-game winning streak with an 11-try rout.

ELEVEN-man East progressed into the Plate Cup semi final by beating 13-strong Ince.

Tries came from Kieron Prescott and Harry Stevenson, Callum Hughes converting one goal.

Newton Storm 22-40 Leigh East U11s

TAYLOR Pemberton exploited the overlap to send Martin Green in first before Ryan Barnes sprinted the full length to score, with other tries from Lee Molyneaux, Jordan Fishwick, Adam Jones and Sam Penkywicz. Powerful defence throughout from Callum Thorpe.

Leigh East U8s 5-6 Thatto Heath Crusaders

THATTO scored in the last set of the match to take the win.

Ryan Kelleher scored three tries to earn man-of-the-match, two-try Dylan Gregson won best run, Josh Hopkins best tackle and Jacob Hardy most-improved.

Blackbrook 11-6 Leigh East U7s

BLACKBROOK were out of sight before East replied through Broady Allred, three, Finn Penkywicz, Jude Wright and man-of-the-match Bobbi Allred.
