Hanley Town 0 Atherton Colls 6

COLLS' 100 per cent start to the NWCFL Division One League campaign continued with a thumping of Hanley Town.

This was a top-of-the-table clash and an healthy crowd was in attendance to see Colls get off to a tremendous start.

There was only three minutes on the clock when Kristain Holt fed Mark Battersby to finish.

Colls were in the ascendancy and allowed the hosts just sporadic attacks.

Bradley Cooke added a third early in the second half.

He was the most surprised man in the ground when the Town keeper dropped a harmless cross at his feet and finished from a yard.

The hosts were losing their tempers and a midfielder was dismissed for a challenge in the centre circle.

Mark Truffas and Ben Hardcastle added two more goals before another Town player was given a straight red card.

Mark Battersby sprung the offside trap with seconds remaining to round up the half dozen.

Michael Clegg's men made it eight wins out of eight and lead Hanley at the top of the league on goal difference.

However, Colls have four games in hand.
