LEIGH Miners Rangers came from behind to claim a 28-18 win at home to Siddal.
They moved up above their opponents into third place in the NCL Premier Division table, just a point behind joint leaders Lock Lane and East Leeds with a game in hand.
The visitors dominated the first half to go into the break 14-4 up, with Danny Jones scoring an unconverted try to keep Miners within 10 points.
Quick tries from Shaun Dowie and Brad Hargreaves after the interval put the home side back on level terms briefly before Siddal again got their noses in front.
But a late surge from Miners saw Danny Jackson muscle his way over before Hargreaves scored two more tries in the final five minutes to complete a hat-trick.
The Under-18s lost 30-10 to Wigan St Patricks while the Alliance team return to action on Saturday with a trip to Rochdale Mayfield.
