ASTLEY & Tyldesley were in Northern League action at Hull on Sunday.

In the Division 1 match, A&T had several first choice riders missing and the home side took full advantage to record a convincing 107-71 victory. Reece Pollitt was in great form for A&T, only losing to three times British Champion Andy Angell in the last heat, but having the satisfaction of beating Angell in heat 11. Ciaran Collins won two races, with Mark Grantham and Matt Snell scoring well. Hull were solid scoring, from 1 to 8 and the result was never in doubt after they took the lead in the opening race.
