BURY staged the sixth and final round of the Manchester League Grand Prix series on Wednesday evening.

The Astley & Tyldesley pair of Aiden Green and Tom Morrissey both scored 16 point maximums in the u-10s match.

Their team mate Duncan Whalley dropped just one point to Aiden and his 15 points score on the night was more than enough to clinch the u-10 Grand Prix series win.

Series leader Emily Burgess, of A&T, lined up for the u-13 match, despite fracturing two bones in her wrist 11 days earlier.

Her determination took her to an impressive 16 points maximum score on the night and the u-13 Grand Prix title.

In the u-19s category, A&T's Reece Pollitt took his sixth maximum score of the series, as he clinched the u-19 Grand Prix title.

Astley & Tyldesley took their sixth win of the series in the team event, to retain the Division 2 title. A&T's score of 79 points, from their top five riders on the night, set up an all time Manchester League record.

Four riders raced unbeaten, with the other dropping just one point to a team mate.
