LEIGH Centurions’ Northern Rail Cup campaign will be different in 2013.
Unlike in previous seasons, Leigh and their fellow Championship clubs will not compete in the opening group stages of the competition.
Eight teams from Championship One will make up two groups for starters, with two qualifiers then joining Leigh and the 13 other Championship sides in a last 16 play-off on the weekend of May 18/19. The quarter finals will follow on June 15/16, with the semi finals and final to follow on June 29/30 and July 20/21.
