REGARDING the front page article relating to Catholic priest Stephen Cooper.
We should not attempt to either condone or condemn Father Cooper for his alleged actions, for which he alone will now face the consequences.
He may well now only be remembered for this, but he should also be thanked for his compassion and care shown to many people during his time as a priest.
To paraphrase the Bible: “Let any people who have not made mistakes in their personal life be allowed to judge the conduct of others.”
