THANKS to all who took part in the Pressmen reunion concert on Saturday, March 22 at Leigh Masonic Hall. The £1320.27 from this event went to Macmillan Cancer Support the final total being.
The Journal’s article on the event resulted in the show selling out completely within six days.
The lads in the band would like to thank the people of Leigh for their generosity and support for a very worthy cause.
Also our thanks go to all the people who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it all happen.
To Stewart, Ken and their wives, for organising the raffle and all the local businesses who donated the prizes.
To our MP Andy Burnham for his help and last but not least to Louise and all her bar staff at the Masonic Hall for their excellent service.
