THIS is the first time I’ve ever contacted a newspaper to give my opinion however I couldn’t believe your front page this week.
Where the heck has this money materialised from? Leisure centres, libraries, day centres closing, budget cuts affecting minority groups and working classes, redundancies etc etc etc.
If this is tax payers' money shouldn’t we have a say on where it goes?
This is so sad that through cuts, so many are struggling and £2.9 million has been ‘found’ and the decision has been made to enhance a leisure centre that is already working.
I’m thinking that someone’s priorities are all wrong.
