I NOTICED Cllr Grundy’s piece in the Journal recently about the welcome proposed relocation of the HS2 depot and also the adjustments to the line of route through Lowton St Mary’s and over Slag Lane.
Although it is many years away, interested Lowton residents should be sure to check out the latest drawing and profile at bit.ly/2gD2sKv to see how the current proposals could affect us.
I understand that a series of information events are planned for January and February where HS2 representatives can answer your questions.
