A robin redbreast at Orrell Water Park
THIS picture of a robin redbreast was taken by Leigh Ornithological Society member Anne Johnson.
Sheila, who took the photograph at Orrell Water Park on November 25, said: “I was surprised at how close the bird came to my camera – at one point I had to stand back to get him on my new Sony compact.
“A man walking by said the bird was known to local people as ‘the tame robin’.”
