FRANK Parkinson proudly told us in a letter in the Journal that he is an atheist who never believes in anything other than his own views.

He then goes on to ridicule our Christian Prime Minister on her values and talk of a more equal society.

I take umbrage at his atheist declaration and then his attack on Christian values.

I must remind you Frank that although we are not all churchgoers many of us still have Christian values.

We live in a Christian country and are entitled to free speech, but that right also means respecting your fellow countrymen and their views.

This fine country of ours, whatever political party it is run by, looks after us very well.

We should be thankful of the generous support we are given and be caring, not looking to find fault with the world.
