The Rock ‘n’ Stroll stage at Lilford Park
ON July 29 Lilford Park hosted a free music event called Rock ‘n’ Stroll, which was a huge success.
As members of the Friends of Lilford Park (FOLP) my wife Chris and I would like to thank all the musicians who gave their time freely to play at the gig.
We would also like to thank the hundreds of people who went along and respected our park and used the facilities provided, leaving very little mess.
A lot of people have told me it was the best day they have had in Leigh, so let’s hope next year will be just as good.
